Brochure work for London Sinfonietta signals preferred supplier status for Harrison & Co

Brighton-based group Harrison & Co is to start work on the London Sinfonietta’s 2010-11 brochure, having been appointed as the orchestra’s preferred design supplier.

It recently completed a print and online marketing campaign for the orchestra’s upcoming festival, Experiment!

London Sinfonietta appointed Harrison & Co seven months ago as an interim design group, without a pitch, following a recommendation from another of the consultancy’s clients, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. The London Sinfonietta has previously worked with Bibliothèque.

The orchestra’s marketing manager, Mark Lewis, says that although it is not contracted to use Harrison & Co for all upcoming design work, the consultancy is likely to be asked to create marketing materials for most of the events until June 2011.

’The London Sinfonietta has such a varied season that the creative challenge is to take each event as a clean sheet of paper,’ says Harrison & Co creative director Chris Harrison. Experiment!, which starts today, will feature works by John Cage and Morton Feldman, among others.
