The Cabinet initiative was launched in October 2008 by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, in response to the Creative Britain report, published in February of that year. C&binet’s aim is to foster international dialogue about the creative economy.
The forum runs until tomorrow at The Grove in Hertfordshire, and speakers include Rory Sutherland, vice-chairman of Ogilvy, and James Moed and Georgie Mack from Ideo.
They will be addressing topics such as dealing with free content, and copyright in the digital age.
Running alongside the conference is the Creative Showcase exhibition, curated by Wired UK editor David Rowan with the Neon Birdcage, and featuring work by Thomas Heatherwick, Greyworld and others.
