De-construct founder Fred Flade leaves consultancy

Fred Flade, founding partner of De-construct, is leaving next month to find ‘a new challenge’.

The digital consultancy will not replace executive creative director Flade, whose responsibilities will instead pass to co-founder and joint executive creative director Alex Griffin.

‘After eight years at De-construct I feel like finding a new challenge, although I am not sure what that is yet,’ says Flade, who is taking a three-month sabbatical to ‘take stock and think about what I want to do’.

He plans to continue working in the field of digital design, but remains unsure whether he will set up on his own or join an existing group. ‘I’m keeping my options open,’ he says.

Flade leaves De-construct on 1 October.
