Design Management Industry conference rescheduled after volcanic disruption

The Design Management Industry’s Transforming Design conference, which was postponed this month due to the flight ban caused by an Icelandic volcanic eruption, has been rescheduled for September.

The Transforming Design conference, which was due to be held in London on 21-22 April, will now be held on 7-8 September.

DMI president Thomas Lockwood says, ‘DMI has incurred many unrecoverable expenses, which will be a major challenge for us, but our priority is to do the right thing for all involved.’

He adds that the rescheduled conference will feature ‘the same conference theme…; same co-chairs, Oliver King and Clive Grinyer, and myself; same enthusiasm; same venue and receptions, and we hope for the same speakers and delegates’.
