Digital festival FutureEverything announces line up
Technology and culture festival FutureEverything is set to take place this month.
The festival will present new commissions and installations alongside a series of speakers, film screenings and live performances.
Installations will include a laser and lighting structure by lighting designer Emmanuel Biard and Nyloid, and a mechanical animated sound and sculptural installation designed by Cod.Act.
Alongside the festival there will be an accompanying conference with a selection of workshops, speakers and keynotes. Speakers include Alexis Lloyd, creative director at New York Times Research and Development Lab, graphic novelist Warren Ellis and Georgina Voss, resident at Lighthouse Arts.
FutureEverything, which is in its 20th year, aims to show collaboration between and innovations in technology, art, academia and design.
FutureEverything Festival will run from 25 – 28th February across multiple venues in Manchester, with the majority of performances and installations taking place at the Royal Northern College of Music, 124 Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9RD. The conference takes place from 26 – 27th February at Manchester Town Hall, Albert Square, Manchester, Lancashire, M60 2LA. Many of the festival events are free, while advance conference tickets are £110. (Concessions: £40).
