Fitch works on Vodafone store format

Fitch is working on a new store format for Vodafone ‘where interactive will play a big part’ according to new digital strategy director for Fitch Worldwide Stephen Beasley.

Beasley says the concept will be led in Uk flagship stores before being rolled out internationally, tailored according to other formats. The consultancy is part of WPP’s Team Vodafone.

Beasley, who joined last month, says he is looking to ‘evangalise digital thinking across the Fitch network’ in his new role.

Working out of Fitch’s London office, Beasley will integrate digital with creative, design, strategy, planning and account management across the consultancy’s 11 global offices.

He is leading digital strategy on new projects for clients including Nokia, American supermarket chain Target and Dell – as well as two new business wins.

Beasley is looking to drive digital thinking at Fitch so that it has a similar ‘point of view’ to retail design within the consultancy.

Chief executive of Fitch Lois Jacobs says, ‘Retail is no longer a matter of online versus in-store: Customers are embracing and responding to inline experiences with digital facilitating this convergence.’
