This will be CCI’s first redesign since 1997. The project is to include a new visual identity and logo to be applied across all materials, including popcorn boxes, tickets and marketing collateral.
Richard Morris, managing director at Identica, says, ’It’s a very ambitious company. Our position is all-around icon-building and I think that really chimed with CCI.’
Identica has already begun researching the market, and talking to consumers and CCI employees to come up with the ’enabling thought’, Morris explains. ’Then we apply that mission to the design identity’, he says.
Mooky Greidinger, chief executive of CCI, says, ’In today’s world, branding is part of the identity of a company and part of its offer to its customers, and we chose a leader in this field to rebrand CCI.’
