Consultancy SMACK has created an interactive infographic showing the successes of 3D printing.

The project has been completed for RS Components, an engineering parts distributor.

The consultancy undertook market research to discover what 3D printing-related topics engineers and consumers were most interested in. Medical, science and transport came out as most popular.

The infographic, part of RS Components’ website, includes a scrolling animation “for maximum user engagement” and a “clean interface”, says SMACK.

The consultancy adds that it has used a flat design vector graphic to “guarantee short loading times and maximise the impact”.
