Shoe and clothing brand Axel Arigato has opened a store-cum-gallery-space in Stockholm, Sweden, working with architect Christian Halleröd, who created the space.
The space aims to appear “clean” with a few installations “blown out of proportion”, says the shoe brand, including a 100kg plexiglass display at the centre of the store, yellow fur seats and yellow optical illusion windows.
Axel Arigato co-founder, Max Svärdh says that each store aims to provide a “new experience” for customers, with “surprise elements”.
Christian Halleröd previously designed the brand’s UK flagship store in London.
Axel Arigato Gallery is based at Bibliotekstan, Smålandsgatan 28 in Stockholm, Sweden.
