Designer Marta Monge has created the “Border Crossings” project, which aims to explore the situations of migrants attempting to travel to Europe.

Monge has created a series of “crafty, ad-hoc design solutions”, which she calls “tainted objects” that aim to show the obstacles the migrants have to cross.

Monge says: “The project twists the traditional vision of clandestine immigration provided by media, by creating a fictional, even though realistic, development of the current situation.”

More information on the project is available at investn-border-crossings.tumblr.com.
