Dalziel & Pow has designed an exhibition space within the Houses of Parliament to promote a charity that supports children with disabilities.

Breaking the Barriers is a pop-up installation which aims to raise awareness and support among MPs for Newlife – a charity which looks to improve the lives of disabled children and their families through funding specialist equipment, campaigning for policy change and supporting medical research.

The exhibition is based around the charity’s latest campaign, which focuses on the barriers children with disabilities have in accessing equipment that would help to change their lives. Pieces of equipment are given podiums within the space, alongside personal stories.

The pop-up space also provides examples of how MPs can lobby locally and nationally for this cause.

Dalziel & Pow worked with manufacturer M2K, which made the stand and its components, and the River Island Store development team, which coordinated its production.
