Design consultancy Thirst Craft, which specialises in the craft drink industry, has designed a range of bold, tie-dye effect packaging for Virginia-based Commonwealth Brewing company.
The brief given by brewer and owner Jeramy Biggie was to design a can which enables the customer to “visually see the flavours in the can.”
The design has been based on photographed textures of different oils, vinegars and inks interacting on a plate at macro level. Later editing resulted in the tie-dye effect in deep, rich colours.
There are four beers in the core series and flavours range from India pale ale Papi Chulo, to chocolate stout Marvolo.
