Elgin Park, by Michael Paul Smith

3.33 - The Giant Hand

A photography book showcasing a miniature, fantasy world has been published.

Artist Michael Paul Smith has created model world Elgin Park by hand-sculpting buildings, furniture and props, and making gravel, snow and to-scale tire tracks, which sit among tiny die cast models of cars.

The scenes have been scaled to 1/24th size and are based on historical settings in America from the 1920s to 1960s.

Smith then photographed all of his scenes, which form part of book Elgin Park, published by Animal Media Group.

Smith has been creating scale models for 25 years.
