Casson Mann has completed the interiors for chef Eneko Atxa’s new restaurant, Eneko at One Aldwych.

Based in the basement of One Aldwych hotel, design features include a floating mezzanine level and materials and colours inspired by Eneko’s Basque heritage.

It is the first time the consultancy has branched out from exhibition design to commercial interiors, according to co-founder Roger Mann.

“All our museum experience is about transforming stories into engaging spatial experiences”, Mann says.

“This has been a similar challenge, albeit with a shift from a direct to a subtle emphasis in the way we link narrative to materials and invite emotional and functional connections.”

Eneko at One Aldwych opens 1 September.
