Designer Charlie Smith has been revealed as the winner of a competition to design the catalogue cover for Free Range, an annual art and design graduate show held at The Old Truman Brewery in east London.
Smith’s design is titled Erratic Creativity and comprises a multicoloured, abstract image of an egg based on the graduate show’s branding.
The design looks to reflect how people’s brains work erratically and are “constantly thinking” when coming up with creative ideas, says Smith.
The design will be printed on 10,000 catalogues, which will be distributed at the graduate show.
Free Range will run from 15 June – 17 July at The Old Truman Brewery, 85 Brick Lane, London E1 6QR. Entry is free.
