A personal security drone has been developed as a working prototype by Mission Planner technology expert Michael Oborne for insurer Direct Line.

Direct Line has commissioned the project as part of a series to “improve everyday objects” and make people’s lives better.

The Fleetlights are a personal drone service, which can be summoned via an app instructing a swarm of drones to fly in and light the way, improving personal security and safety.
