Häng konsten lågt book design, by Snask
Snask has designed a book, which aims to inspire people to start their own art collections.
It has been written by Swedish writer Karolina Modig, who talks about her experience of buying art for the first time, alongside interviews with artists.
Fredrik Öst, creative director at Snask, says: “When we designed the book, we wanted to keep the aesthetics of an art book, but add an editorial touch to the design to make it more accessible to a wider audience.”
The title Häng konsten lågt (which translates to “Hang Art Low”), was inspired by a quote from a photographer called Annika von Hausswolff, who said: “I always hang my pictures quite low in order to make you approach them with your stomach, rather than with your eyes.”
