Invisible Outlines, by Nendo

Japanese consultancy Nendo has designed a series of objects which aim to blur the lines of what can and cannot be perceived as physical objects.

The collection looks at how outlines and borders enable people to subconsciously recognise objects, even if these outlines are not filled in.

16 collections were created, including “border table”, which presents fragmented room landscapes, and “un-printed material”, which portrays paper in various ways through outlines.

The collections were revealed at Milan Design Week.
