Kaelo ice bucket, by Kevin Jabou
A new type of ice bucket for cooling drinks has been designed – one which doesn’t actually use ice.
Kaelo is an “iceless” ice bucket, which uses touch activation to chill drinks in an ice-cold chamber embedded into a table top or surface.
Without ice, the device also gets rid of “issues with condensation and dripping water”, and “maintains a cold and dry environment” for the bottle.
The iceless crevice can hold any bottle up to the size of a Krug champagne bottle. All drinkers have to do is touch the top of it to activate it.
Kaelo was designed by Kevin Jabou.
