La French Touch for Martell, by AKQA


AKQA has worked on the La French Touch project for The Martell House, which sees limited-edition packaging for Martell cognac turn into a virtual reality headset.

People can then use the headset to play a special game, which sees them guide a swift – the Martell House symbol – from Cognac to Shanghai.

AKQA creative director Peter Lund says: “With La French Touch we were inspired to bring VR to a wider audience by offering a product design that could be transformed into a VR headset, and by making the brand experience accessible directly in the mobile browser.”
