Limbo VR experience, by the Guardian and ScanLab Projects

The Guardian has launched its latest virtual reality (VR) project, based on the experiences of asylum seekers in the UK.

Produced by the Guardian’s in-house VR team and ScanLab projects, Limbo puts the viewer in the shoes of a newly arrived asylum seeker and explores issues facing them, such as being in an unfamiliar city, leaving loved ones behind and not being allowed to work.

The experience has been constructed based on interviews with asylum seekers from 12 different countries and immigration lawyers.

Limbo is now available on Daydream View and 360 video, and is also set to roll out on Samsung VR.
