MakeFest identity, by Mark

Consultancy Mark has created the MakeFest identity for Manchester’s Museum of Science and Industry.


MakeFest, which takes place this month, will be a festival of makers. Mark was briefed to create and identity that would appeal to the general public and would not be too “techy” – to encourage non-tech makers to engage with the event.

Mark Lester, creative director at Mark, says the aim was for the identity to be “hand-made and spontaneous, not slick and corporate”.
