Pakistan-based designer Omar Aqil has created a series of hyperrealistic three-dimensional visuals based on the work of artist Pablo Picasso.

Having been inspired by the work of Picasso since first starting his career in design, Aqil selected six of the artist’s most famous works and recreated them using a number of programmes including 4D-Vray, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

The project aims to look at how the “meanings of the shapes and forms have been changed” and to give the Picasso’s works “new physical qualities”, says the designer.
