Musicon has designed an eponymous musical instrument which looks to promote psychophysical and cognitive development in children.

Musicon is made up of three main instruments – a mill, drum and xylophone – which are held magnetically on an acoustic frame.

The user is able to see the process of how each of the instruments makes music through various visible mechanical and sound producing parts.

It is also possible to attach additional instruments to it, including strings and shakers.

Musicon’s crowdfunding campaign launches on 1 March 2017.
