Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs, by L3

Northamptonshire consultancy L3 has designed a car concept for Nissan tailored specifically for dog owners.

Based on Nissan’s existing X-Trail model, L3’s design looks to recognise dogs as “an integral part of family life”.

The consultancy has transformed the boot space into an area for dogs to relax, featuring a “no spill” water dispenser, paw-activated dog treat bowl and dog bed.

In order to tackle the problem of muddy paws, L3 has incorporated a pull out 360-degree shower that sources water from an integrated water tank, along with an accompanying dog dryer.
Owners are also able to keep an eye on their dogs via a two-way dog cam and audio system, which are integrated into the car’s infotainment system.

A clip-in harness hook secures dogs in the vehicle and the slide away dog ramp allows for easy entrance and exit.
