An exhibition showcasing Peter Blake’s portraiture work is set to open.

Peter Blake: Portraits and People will include new work, as well as early work that has never been exhibited previously.

Previously unseen work includes portraits of one of Blake’s closest friends Leslie Waddington, fashion designer Paul Smith and actor Helen Mirren.

Also shown will be a collection focusing on wrestlers, and a watercolour collection of men and women covered in tattoos and body art.

Peter Blake: Portraits and People takes place at Waddington Custot Galleries, London from 24 November 2015 – 30 January 2016.
