Martin Brudnizki Design Studio has created the interiors for a new boutique steakhouse in London.

Smith & Wollensky is based within art deco building the Adelphi, and features a “classic aesthetic”, says the consultancy.

It includes timber wall panelling, a mosaic marble floor and a black steel bar, and is spread across two floors. It also includes three private dining rooms in the basement, separated by sliding doors, which alter the rooms’ size and shape, and a variety of contemporary abstract artwork.

The restaurant marks the American brand’s first opening outside of the US.
