Sounds of the City exhibition, by various illustrators and designers

Surprise City Sounds, by Julia Allum

The Association of Illustrators has worked with the London Transport Museum to display a colourful array of graphic interpretations of cities.

The exhibition is the result of the Prize for Illustration 2017 competition, and showcases prints that “visually capture sounds” heard in UK cities, from “quiet and relaxing” to “loud and frenetic”, says the Association of Illustrators.

Prizes have been awarded to the designers coming first, second and third. The exhibition is on show from May – September 2017 at the London Transport Museum, Covent Garden Piazza, London WC2E 7BB.
