Sourced Market Barbican interiors, by YourStudio

London-based consultancy YourStudio has designed the interiors for Sourced Market’s new offering in Barbican, London.

The design of the deli, food store and restaurant is based around the concept of a “food library”.

Quarry floor tiles with cast concrete features nod to the architecture of the nearby Barbican Centre and Golden Lane Estates.

Seating includes upholstered banquettes, Thonet bentwood chairs and a concrete cast sharing table with a central trough filled with ferns and other woodland plants.

A bespoke, black and white mural by designer Alice Bowsher on one of the walls looks to illustrate some of the area’s local people and places.
