Springs Smokery is a 50-year-old business located in the South Downs, which uses dry salting and log smoking to produce its products. Distil Studio has worked on branding, packaging, website design, smokery signage and advertising.

Distil Studio creative director Neil Hedger says: “Using the charcoal from their brick kilns, we’ve drawn a series of expressive marks and textures born from the very heart of their handcrafted process.”

Distil Studio director Fiona Curran says: “As a product, smoked salmon can look very similar when packed, so this identity really helps to express each variety, from Wild Pacific to Organic Scottish. The full range now evokes the traditions of the smokery in a new and inspiring way.”
