Consultancy Fitch has created the branding for Russian umbrella company Tashir Group.
The group leads more than 200 companies over various sectors, including finance, manufacturing, retail, development, construction, energy, restaurants and entertainment.
The new logo has an “intricate, multi-layered pattern”, says Fitch, which aims to represent all the different companies. The consultancy says it includes “eight icons” to represent the “eight core industries Tashir Group is active in today”.
The consultancy adds that the logo’s semi-circular patterns which cut across the angles aim to symbolise “continuity”.
Alasdair Lennox, executive creative director EMEA at Fitch, says the use of “simplified and abstract symbols” helped to “unite such a diverse portfolio”.
