Art&Graft has created ITV’s I am Team GB campaign for the broadcaster’s Rio 2016 Olympics coverage.

Two animations have been made – The Road to Rio and I Am Team GB – which will roll out online and on television alongside a print ad campaign.

Art&Graft creative director Mike Moloney says: “We wanted to create the epic, cinematic scenes synonymous with an Olympics launch, yet also introduce a warmth and charm that is sometimes missing when representing our heroic athletic superstars.”

The style of both films is influenced by the paintings of Norman Wilkinson and one of the films, The Road to Rio, references The National Lottery – a sponsor – in the story.
