Paul Belford has designed a non-fiction love story told entirely through text, called Textbook.
The story features 5,191 unedited texts sent between the main characters, Penny and Andy, who are in a relationship but live 18,000 km away from each other.
Users can read the story online, download it or set up an app on their smartphone.
Paul Belford has also developed software to enable users to use their WhatsApp conversations to create their own Textbook.
