SomeOne has worked with craftsman Christopher Wormell to create a new identity for whisky brand The Glenlivet.
The identity uses an image of an old smuggler’s packhorse bridge on the River Livet as it flows through The Glenlivet estate.
SomeOne senior designer Tom Myers says: “Hundreds of years old and still standing strong, the bridge helped early bootleggers distribute their whisky undetected. It is this bridge that was identified for the new signifier, spiralling out from the centre of a perfect circle.”
The new identity replaces the previous thistle mark, which had been used for more than 50 years.
