Typographic maps, by Ursula Hitz
Swiss designer Ursula Hitz is exhibiting her typographic maps, which are inspired by her relocation to London more than ten years ago.
Hitz says: “I love becoming fixated on a city’s intricacies, before taking a step back and seeing a bigger structure evolve.
“Unlike regular maps, mine don’t focus on streets or buildings. Instead, they build an organic texture of words that grow from the centre – in the way that most cities have grown.”
The limited edition screen-printed maps are being exhibited and are available to buy from Fabriano Boutique, 21 Neal Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9PU.
