Under the Skin, by Ed Harrison

Three of the prints from the endangered animals series

Designer Ed Harrison describes self-initiated project Under the Skin as “an interactive educational project that reveals the anatomy of some of the world’s most iconic, yet endangered animals”.

He says: “Phosphorescent ink is used for the final layer, which glows under UV light. When the lights are turned out its skeleton is revealed – all that remains when a species falls into the darkness of extinction.”

The limited edition interactive print series are created from digital illustrations by Ed, transferred onto a screen and hand printed by his brother James. From the proceeds, 20% will go to charities including Polar Bears International and the Gorilla Organisation.
