Into the Unknown special edition book covers, by Jamie Keenan

The Barbican has teamed up with publisher Penguin Classics to produce a series limited edition covers for famous science fiction novels.

Designer Jamie Keenan has reimagined the covers of texts including George Orwell’s 1984 and A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, to mark the opening of the Barbican’s new sci-fi themed exhibition, Into the Unknown.

The cover designs are inspired by the Barbican’s Brutalist architecture, featuring illustrations of different areas of the arts and learning centre.

The limited edition books are available from the Barbican shop, both in-store and online.
