Vice Magazine redesign

Vice Magazine has undergone a print redesign reorganised around three main sections – Briefs, Well and Field Notes.

Briefs is an up front section dealing with “visual culture” and short news stories, Well contains long-read features,  photo portfolios and fiction, while Field Notes contains commentary, columns, “ephemera”, and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of each cover image.

The first cover has been designed by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari of Toilet Paper magazine.

The magazine has been redesigned in-house and editor Ellis Jones says: “Coming into the redesign, we had three main goals: more cultural content, more structure, and more short, visually interesting pieces in the front of the book.”
