Maxxi museum in Rome, Italy has opened a new exhibition to mark the one-year anniversary of architect Zaha Hadid’s death.

Made in Italy has been curated by the museum in collaboration with Zaha Hadid Design, Zaha Hadid Architects and the Zaha Hadid Foundation, and explores the architect’s long-lasting relationship with the country.

It features conceptual sketches, three-dimensional models and virtual renderings of Hadid’s architectural and design projects in Italy, such as the Messner Mountain Museum at Plan de Corones and products created for brands including Cassina.

It also includes objects, videos and photographs highlighting her design research process.

A three-dimensional installation by Zaha Hadid Design is inspired by the architect’s sketches while working on the building of the Maxxi museum.

Zaha Hadid in Italy runs until 14 January 2018 at Maxxi museum, Via Guido Reni 4A, Rome, Italy 00196.
