Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio commissioned to create the Comet

Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio has been commissioned by Veuve Clicquot to create the Comet – a series of identical installations forming gazebo-like shelters – for the final of the champagne brand’s Gold Cup Polo Tournament at Cowdray Park, West Sussex, on 19 July. The design takes its cue from Dixon’s Comet lamp which launched at Milan in April, and is said to partly replicate the comet found on Veuve Clicquot’s logo.
