Pitch held for BBC reality show idents

A closed pitch is being held to brand and design titles for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new BBC TV talent show, Over The Rainbow.

Mary O’Reilly, head of communications for production company Talkback Thames, which is holding the pitch, says, ‘We’ve had a few groups come in and pitch already.’

O’Reilly explains that ‘more groups will be coming in’ and that Talkback Thames could be looking to announce the winning consultancy in the next two weeks.

In the new year, nationwide auditions will be held to find candidates to compete to play Dorothy, ahead of the launch of Over The Rainbow.

Previous reality shows presented by Lloyd Webber, including How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything, were also produced by the BBC.
