Design House and GP Studio to share office space

Richmond-based branding specialist Design House is moving to central London to share office space with multidisciplinary branding and design consultancy GP Studio.

The consultancies will work together on a number of projects as part of the move. Lavinia Culverhouse, managing director of Design House, says, ‘We took the decision to start working together under one roof.Previously, a few clients of ours had asked for advice on retail design options and we’d recommended GP Studio.’

Design House will move into GP Studio’s Waterloo offices at the beginning of August. Culverhouse says, ‘We are not merging at this stage, just working together on business ventures. It makes sense in this current climate to pool resources.’ She adds, ‘We’ve done our stint in Richmond – it’ll be good to get back to the centre of London.’

Gregor Jackson, managing director of GP Studio, says, ‘This is a strategic collaboration rather than a consolidation. Both consultancies are looking to build. This collaboration also gives us both a much broader scale.’

The two consultancies are currently collaborating on a number of retail and branding projects.
