FRENCH menswear chain Eden Park has opened its first store outside France, in London’s Conduit Street. Shopfitting company Roset adapted the chain’s store format, and is hoping to produce further British outlets.
Founded in 1987 by French rugby star Franck Mesnel and four colleagues from the national team, Eden Park has 20 stores in France, many of them developed by Roset’s parent company.
John Higham, UK managing director of Roset, says the brief was to create a look that would appeal to Eden Park’s young, relatively-affluent target customers.
The design includes a ground floor featuring rich, dark mahogany and a lighter, whiter first floor.
Higham says his consultancy hopes to be involved in further stores in Britain and Ireland once Eden Park has assessed the impact of the London shop.
