Floppy groins cause groans

The groan of the week was generated in the DW office by this invitation, designed by Evans May Partnership.

A record attendance for the launch of a computer disk drive was created by the invite, which opens at the fly to reveal a floppy one. But surely it’s not women who have the floppy ones?

The designer, Martin Kennedy, puts it down to the invite being “eye-catching”. PR man David Cunliffe claims that journalists were queuing to get into the launch: “One lady journalist said ‘In 20 years of journalism I have never seen anything like it – it’s fantastic’.”
