Cocktail Bar to “revive the forgotten romance of travel”

Steam, a cocktail bar and restaurant, is opening opposite London’s Paddington Station in April, designed by Simon McCarthy. It claims to ‘revive the forgotten romance of travel’ with Art Deco entrance steps that emit wisps of steam. The interior features dark red booths where cocktails and shots will be served and photography of different images of steam. The food is traditional British ‘with a twist’, such as sausages and mash and Lancashire hotpot. Sister bar to the Zeta bar in London’s Hilton Hotel, Steam opens in mid-April.
