LONDON design group Hosker Moore & Kent is creating the façade and interiors for Harvey Nichols’ new store in Saudi Arabia.

The shop is the chain’s first overseas venture. It will open in April 2000 in the Al Faisaliah complex, designed by Foster and Partners and Buro Happold.

The three-storey outlet will measure 8000sqm and will feature a prestigious 125-seat restaurant on the top floor.

“Saudi Arabia has the largest customer base in the Middle East and the addition of Harvey Nichols to this growing market will fill an important niche,” says Secretary-General of the King Faisal Foundation, Prince Badar bin Saud bin Khaled Al-Saud.
