Pearlfisher’s leukemia fund

Pearlfisher founders Karen Welman and Jonathan Ford have set up a memorial fund for their daughter Daniella, who died last week from leukemia.

An appeal for bone marrow donors earlier this year met with a tremendous response from the design industry. But though a donor was found, the operation was unsuccessful.

Donations to the Sugarmane Fund will go to the Fox and Robin wards of Great Ormond Street children’s hospital in London to provide interactive teaching aids for leukemia and transplant patients. Cheques should be made payable to Great Ormond Street Hospital and sent to Pearlfisher, 12 Addison Avenue, London W11 4QR.
