PSD Associates designs Mitsubishi’s Trium Mondo

PSD Associates has designed Mitsubishi’s Trium Mondo, its first mobile phone, pocket PC with Internet and personal digital assistant rolled into one. Designed in collaboration with the Mitsubishi Paris in-house team, the 200g ‘Mondo’ launches in the UK at the end of March.

A robotics concept developed by Staffordshire University professor Mike Topping could give disabled people greater independence. The snake-like device, called Flexibot, can cook dinners, shave a person’s face and vacuum carpets.

Martin Dawe’s London Cuppa

Martin Dawe Design has named, branded and packaged tea brand The London Cuppa, which will launch in shops within the M25 next week. Founder Martin Dawe says the packaging has a black-and-white theme to give it ‘a London feel and stand out against the melee of multi-coloured packaging’.
