Allen vision for General Optica

Allen International is redesigning Spanish optician General Optica’s interiors to reposition it as a well-being centre for eyes rather than “just an optician”.

It was appointed in January, after a credentials pitch including incumbent design group Fitch and an unnamed Spanish group, says Allen International creative director Aubrey Ghose.

He says the designs will remove intimidating rows of spectacles and will perhaps introduce more fashion accessories.
