Enterprise IG sees new dawn in the Far East

Enterprise IG is expanding its presence in the Far East with its first office in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of its commitment to global expansion.

Headed by Sirikul Laukaikul, the office was originally Ogilvy & Mather Thailand design consultancy Artistree.

It will be rebranded Enterprise IG as part of the Asia Pacific joint venture between the consultancy and fellow WPP-owned advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific.

The office will serve clients in the region, including BP, Pepsi and Grammy Music.

Enterprise IG chief executive Asia Pacific Mike Murphy says the Thailand office forms part of the consultancy’s strategy to become a “multi-country, multi-cultural” group.

The consultancy now has eight offices in Asia Pacific, employing over 125 people. It launched a start-up in Tokyo last month with Ogilvy & Mather, and grew its mainland Europe presence with its first operation in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Enterprise IG is hoping to increase its presence in China and enter India later this year, according to Murphy.
